Yahoo Address Book Keeps Duplicating Three Names Over And Over. Why?

Three names in my address book keep duplicating themselves over and over. Last count they were in there about 140 times each.
No matter how many times i delete them all, they come back. First two then twenty and on and on.
This address book is the template for all my other address books and i don’t like this situation at all.
Yahoo has been no help on this one.
